What is a Professional Organizer?
A Professional Organizer is an individual dedicated to enhancing and supporting the lives of others through organization. Professional Organizers design organizational systems and implement organizing principles that simplify day to day living. Professional Organizers work in both the residential and business realms, although many organizers choose to specialize in one area or the other. Some professional organizers are also proficient in working with clients who face any number of challenges such as ADD, OCD, hoarding, or physical disabilities in conjunction with organizational challenges. Professional Organizers serve to educate the public about the organizing industry, and transfer skills to clients and those wishing to become better organized.
How long will it take to organize me?
That depends on several factors including, but not limited to, the following:
- How long the disorganization has been going on
- The quantity and condition of the items in relation to the quantity and condition of the space
- Your ability to make decisions about your belongings
- How long you are able to focus without distractions
- Your timetable and budgetary considerations
- Your energy level physically, mentally, and emotionally
- The number and kinds of people involved in the process
- The working relationship between you and the organizer

I want to help someone else get organized. What do you suggest?
Choreographed Order recommends that you speak directly with the person you wish to help and make sure they are in agreement with wanting to get organized. Choreographed Order understands that it is very difficult to help someone get organized unless they first desire it themselves.
